Install DexCue Vault
A browser extension, with a small connector for persistent member access.
Add the browser extension
The preview uses an unpacked extension. Store installation and automatic updates are not available yet.
- Download the browser ZIP and extract it.
- Open your browser’s extension management page:
edge://extensionsorchrome://extensions. - Enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted
extensionfolder. - Pin DexCue Vault to your toolbar. Open it and choose Set up DexCue Vault.
Install the device connector
Required for a member browser to stay paired across restarts. It runs only when the browser needs protected storage.
Extract the ZIP, then open scripts/Install-Connector.cmd. The connector is installed for your Windows user.
Member keys are protected using Windows device storage.
Extract the ZIP. In its folder, run:

Choose how this browser connects
Administrators manage the vault. Members use assigned accounts.
Administrator
Sign in with DexCue from the extension, then create your vault with a long master passphrase. For an existing vault, choose Sign in & open existing vault, approve the connection in your DexCue account, then unlock locally with your master password.
Keep an encrypted connection file somewhere safe as an independent connection backup.
Member or dot
Use a separate browser profile. Enter the member name and request a pairing code. An administrator approves this browser and assigns shared tags.

Member access
For people and AI browsers, with the same clear access rules.
Share accounts through tags
Use ordinary tags to organize your library. Enable sharing on a tag and assign it to specific members to grant account use.
Assign the members who need management accounts.
Assign the members who publish or manage social accounts.
Keep sharing off for accounts that only you should use.
A member can have several tags. No assigned shared tags means no account access.
Pair a member browser
- Install the extension and connector in the member’s own browser profile.
- Choose Member, use
https://vault.dexcue.com, enter a name and select Get pairing code. - In the unlocked administrator vault, open Members, look up the code, compare the browser fingerprint and select shared tags.
- On the member screen, compare the administrator fingerprint and finish pairing.
Pairing codes expire after five minutes. Compare both fingerprints through a trusted channel before approving.

Members can

Credential use checks current authorization online. Removing access stops future use; rotate passwords if a device may already have been compromised.
Autofill sends the password to the intended website form. Configure your AI’s browser observation layer to redact sensitive fields so they do not appear in its observations or chats.
